Twelve Days of Christmas

How We Work

The Invite

The invitation has to have immediate impact. It will set the tone of your event and build anticipation, without spoiling the surprise. We'll design something original and alluring to guarantee you a place in your guests' diaries.

The Venue

Finding the perfect venue is vital. There are more than 1,000 on our database, which we will match to your vision and your budget. We're constantly seeking out new spaces and places to guarantee that extra 'wow' factor. If you're seeking an alternative to London, we can use our contacts to whisk you off to a country-house boutique hotel, or fly your guests to a rock-star villa in Ibiza; the options are endless.

The Set

From first impressions when guests arrive, to the styling inside, every detail will be considered. Whether we work with a venue's character or start with a blank canvas, we'll bring your event to life with props, costumes, sound, light and audiovisual effects for maximum impact.

The Kitchen and Bar

The food and drink must reflect your event's tone and style, and creativity will always be matched by quality, whether you ask for a live-cut sushi bar, a formal banquet, or a quintessentially English tea party. Making sure guests are greeted with a glass of something chilled, and that the waiting staff reach everyone with piping-hot food, is second nature to us. Our team of experienced managers have worked in London's top bars and restaurants, so they know what it takes to make this part of the evening go like clockwork. If you would like a celebrity chef to cook for you, or leading mixologist to design you an original cocktail, consider it done. Bespoke menu options will always be presented to you, and a tasting prior to the event always arranged.

The Timing

Every minute of a live event is scheduled, with staff constantly keeping track of timings, but one element of a party you can't predict is the pace - Guests will turn up late (traffic, working late, etc), but the bar, kitchen and entertainment will always respond to this. We adjust to any situation in a calm and professional manner, without affecting the dynamics of an event.

The Entertainment

Whether you want a live PA by Jocelyn Brown, a DJ set by Mylo, or an aerial silk artist performing over the crowd, it will all take place seamlessly throughout your event, creating highlights to remember. The theme of the entertainment often filters down to the staff, who we dress in full costume and make-up.

The Staff

The guestlist is organised and managed so that entry is quick. Security staff are always professional and polite. We make sure there are enough cloakroom attendants to guarantee a speedy check-in. Waiting staff are charming, stylish and cute!

The Ambience

We circulate during events and imagine we're guests. Is the music the right level for me to talk or dance? Is the lighting too bright or too dim? Is it too hot or too cold? This is a vital part of what we do and something we never get complacent about.

The Details

It's the little things that people remember. From clever table centres to creative goodie-bags and, of course, scented candles in the loos, details make the difference. Each event is treated individually and the Green Room team will always go the extra mile with our finishing touches.

The End

All good things must come to an end. We always make sure your guests get home swiftly and safely, with a trusted taxi company.
